Mia Alysse is an independent R&B and neo-soul singer-songwriter whose music blends raw honesty with warm, soulful storytelling. Through vulnerable lyrics and intentional production, she creates songs that explore love, self-discovery, faith, and the moments that shape who we become. A graduate of Berklee College of Music, Mia earned a degree in Performance and Songwriting, where she refined both her artistry and her voice as a storyteller. With the help of Berklee, she has been able to collaborate/perform with artists such as Ledisi, Kurt Carr, and Hezekiah Walker. She was also able to release her debut single “Tomorrow” at the beginning of the year 2025, following with her next release "You're Out". Mia started out playing piano and singing gospel music with her family when she was only five years old. Her family made a name for themselves and made musical groups in the family called “Chosen By God” and “Chosen Generation”, which led them to sing at different venues, churches, and conventions around the Dallas County area. Because of this, she produces not only an R&B sound, but also a sound from her roots; the foundation of her career. Mia eventually explored a variety of genres while performing solo and with other artists, an experience that helped shape her musical identity and ultimately led her to R&B and soul. With the help of God, Mia hopes to continue to write and perform more of her original music while also helping others with their careers as well. Her debut EP, Distracted, arrives on September 3, marking the beginning of a new chapter in her artistry.
